Angelina Jolie has received the Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s “Performance of the Year” award for her portrayal of Mariane Pearl, wife of slain journalist Daniel Pearl, in the film “A Mighty Heart.”

In a poll conducted by Empire Magazine, Angelina Jolie was voted the sexiest movie star in history, rating higher than Natalie Portman who finished 2nd, Jessica Alba who finished 4th, Scarlett Johansson who finished 8th and Keira Knightley who finished 9th.
